National Cherry Festival
A crown jewel of Northern Michigan summers, the National Cherry Festival has drawn visitors to Traverse City every July since 1925. This beloved week-long celebration fills the waterfront with live entertainment, air shows, parades, and of course, an abundance of fresh Michigan cherries in every form imaginable. In 2025, the festival runs July 5–12.
